These test strips are easy, quick,
accurate, safe and non-toxic to use, they test for pH, total hardness,
alkalinity, nitrite and nitrate.
Range for pH is: 6.4, 7.2, 7.6, 8.0, 8.4.
Range for total hardness is: 0, 25, 50, 120, 250, 425. Range for alkalinity is:
0, 80, 120, 180, 240, 300.
Range for nitrite is: 0, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0, 10.0.
Instructions:
Remove one strip from bottle and hold at end with no pads. Dip strip into the
water to be checked and remove immediately. Be sure to dip all 5 pads into the
water. Do not shake excess water from the strip. Hold strip level and allow
colors to develop. At 30 seconds compare pH, total hardness, alkalinity and
nitrite pads to color chart and record the results to your best estimated value.
At 60 seconds compare nitrate pad to color chart, record results and dispose of
test strip.
