Instructions Continuous operation with or without power (battery). Automatically switches to battery power in the event of a power loss. Dual Outlet Design. Select the suitable lengths of airline tubing and connect one end of each to desired product (ex. - airstone, box filter, etc.) and the other ends to the Battery Backup Pump outlets. Adjustable Flow Control. (Note: Flow control knob only works with AC power). with knob control turned completely to the left, the pump will be in AC power mode only. The knob turned to the right indicates AC power with Backup power mode on. Power Indicator Light. 1) Red = AC Power; 2) Green = Battery Power Uses 4 Alkalline "D" cell batteries (not included). Battery power will last approximately 150 hours. Length of operation with battery power will vary depending on the quality of the batteries used.
