The Rena Air Pump Tune Up Kit for the
Rena 300 and 400 comes with a replacement diaphragm and a valve block. Restores
air pump to maximum output and is easy to install. If the unit is a Rena Air
Pump 400, 2 kits are needed.
Instructions:
Unplug air pump from electric source, and disconnect tubing that leads to the
aquarium. Remove base from air pump using a Phillips screwdriver. Gently slide
the vibrator arm with the diaphragm and attached valve block out as a single
unit. Pull the diaphragm and valve block off the vibrator arm. Attach the new
diaphragm to the new valve block. Attach the new diaphragm and valve block to
the vibrator arm and slide them back into the air pump. Once the base is
attached back to the air pump plug back in and return to operation.
