Unique blend of high grade activated carbon and ammonia-removing media works great for regular aquarium maintenance. The activated carbon removes dissolved organic waste, colors and odors. The ammonia-removing media removes toxic ammonia produced by fish waste, uneaten food and organic debris, as well as chloramine from tap water.
Instructions Use 1/2 cup for every 10 gallons of aquarium or pond water. Rinse thoroughly under cool tap water to remove any loose dust. Note: product does not need to rinse clear. Place in filter inside the filter cartridge or in a filter media bag. Follow filter manufacturer's instructions. Replace everey 4 weeks or sooner for heavily stocked aquariums or when ammonia, odors or colors are detected.
