Ammo-Chips are an ammonia removing resin
for freshwater aquariums that continuously remove ammonia from new or
established aquariums. Place your Ammo Chips in a filter cartridge or filter bag
within your filter and replace or recharge when you start to detect new ammonia
levels.
Test your water weekly with an Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Ammonia Test Kit.
Instructions:
Use 1/4 cup of Ammo-Chips for each 10 gallons of water. For goldfish bowls, use
2 tablespoonfuls of rinsed Ammo-Chips for each goldfish in the bowl.To recharge
Ammo-Chips use 1/4 cup of Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Aquarium Salt in 1/2 gallon
of water for every 12 oz of Ammo Chips. Soak Ammo-Chips in salt solution for 2
hours, rinse and reuse.
