The Aqua Clear 201 Powerhead delivers
outstanding performance in a variety of applications for fresh or saltwater
aquariums. It can efficiently drive undergravel filters, circulate and aerate
aquarium water, and attach to filtration accessories such as the Hagen Quick
Filter for added mechanical filtration or to drive a protein skimmer. It can
also be easily hidden and still provide highly beneficial currents to raise
oxygen levels.
The Aqua Clear Powerhead is hermetically-sealed and completely submersible. It
is insulated with highly effective epoxy resin to insulate against harsh
freshwater and saltwater environments.
The powerhead has a variable flow control and a deflector plate that controls
vertical output placement. It also has horizontal adjustment for maximum depth
flexibility. The output stem rotates 175 degrees for maximum current control.
The venturi aerating feature includes an air valve and 13" of airline tubing.
The Aqua Clear self-centering swivel stem adapter adjust to undergravel filter
stem positions from 3/4” to 1 1/8”. The included hose connectors allow for quick
and easy connections to protein skimmers, spay bars, and other accessories.
The convenient suction cups and attachment brackets with an adjustable clamp
allow the Aqua Clear Powerhead to be mounted in most aquariums with either rim
or glass mounts.
