Aqualight Power Center with Lighting/Wavemaker Timers (ESU)
No hassle lighting control! The Power Center from Aqualight
allows you to power a full day-to-night cycle of lights for your aquarium.
Featuring 2 outlets for actinic fixtures, 2 outlets for lunar fixtures, and 3
outlets for 10,000k daylight fixtures, you will have all the lighting your tank
needs powered from one simple appliance. Included with the Power Center is an
additional constant-power outlet and an optional wavemaker application that
enables you to create the rhythm of the ocean! You can also customize your
lighting schedule with a 24-hour mechanical setting, or 15-minute interval
setting.
Instructions: Manual Control Switch
To manually switch between outlets, turn the manual control switch to the
desired symbol to activate. Note: Actinic Blue and Lunar Light outlets alternate power, both outlets
can not be on at the same time--when Lunar Lights are on, the Actinic Blue
outlets are off.
Setting the Timers
Turn the manual control switch to the timer-on position.
Set the current time of day by turning the timer dial clockwise until the
correct time faces the arrowhead. Note: Manual Control Switch must be in the timer-on position for the
timer to function properly.
Alternating Timing
Turn the manual control switch to the timer-on position. Set the timer to the
current time of day.
To set the time for when the actinic outlets will turn on, the timer tabs must
be in the down position at the desired starting time.
Continue around the timer dial in sequential order (verify that all the tabs in
the actinic cycle are in the down position) until reaching the end of the cycle
where the actinics will be turned off.
Push up the timer tabs at the end of the desired actinic cycle to turn on the
Lunar Light outlets.
Continue pushing the tabs up until reaching the starting time of the actinic
cycle.
Day-shift Timing
Turn the manual control switch to the timer-on position. Set the timer to the
current time of day.
To set the time for when the 10,000k Daylight outlets will turn on. the timer
tabs must be in the down position at the desired starting time.
Continue around the timer dial in sequential order (verify that all the tabs in
the day-shift cycle are in the down position) until reaching the end of the
cycle where the 10,000k Daylight outlets will be turned off.
Push up the timer tabs at the end of the desired day-shift cycle to turn off the
10,000k Daylight outlets.
Continue pushing the tabs up until reaching the starting time of the day-shift
cycle. Note: Each timer tab represents a 15 minute interval.
Dual Day-night Timer Installation
Once both timers are set, mount the Aqualight fixture on the tank.
Attach both power cords to the Power Center.
Plug Power Center into a grounded 3-prong receptacle controlled by a GFI circuit
breaker.
Turn on Power Center on/off switch (red light is visible when power is on).
Wave-Maker Timer Installation
Turn the manual control switch on the Alternating Timer to the timer-on
position.
Push up every other timer tab into the up position to alternate power between
the Actinc outlets and the Lunar outlets.
Continue around the timer dial until all the timer tabs are interchanged
consecutively (one up and one down).
Wave-Maker Installation
Place up to four water pumps in desired locations in the aquarium to create
multiple currents.
Plug two pumps into the actinic (blue) outlets and two pumps into the lunar
(black) outlets.
Plug Power Center into a grounded 3-prong receptacle controlled by a GFI circuit
breaker.
Turn on Power Center on/off switch (red light is visible when power is on).
