Perfecto's 100 percent clear silicone
rubber sealant repairs leaky aquariums, broken ornaments, and can be used to
build small aquariums. Stays flexible, will not crack or shrink, waterproof,
harmless to fresh and saltwater fish.
Instructions:
Empty tank. Remove old sealant with single edge razor blade. Before adding new
sealant, surfaces should be clean and dry. For best results, clean glass with
isopropyl alcohol. Cut end of nozzle at 45 degree angle. Hold tube at 45 degree
angle and apply by squeezing sealant through nozzle. Apply sealant evenly to
both surfaces. Spread sealant with finger or tool immediately. Remove excess
with dry paper towel. Normally sealant "skins" in 5 minutes, cures and bonds in
24 hours. Allow 48 hours before filling tank again. Optinum strength is achieved
in 7 days.
