An effective way to clean and maintain
your home aquarium. The Super Battery Vac contains an algae vacuum scraper,
power siphon, a larger impeller which creates more suction, a telescoping
locking extension tube and a re-usable filter bag. This device also makes it
easy and less messy to do a water change on your home aquarium
Instructions:
If using the product for cleaning, place the Vacuum into the water up to the
water line mark but no higher. Attach the vacuum cup and vacuum bag to the main
assembly. Push the button on top to operate and begin by slowly moving the
gravel attachment into the gravel to help loosen waste so that it can be drawn
up by the vacuum. Continue doing this throughout the aquarium until the desired
amount of the tank is cleaned. To simply do a water change attach 1/2" hose (not
supplied) to the spout where you would normally attach the vacuum cup. Submerge
unit to water line marking and turn switch on. Once the switch is turned on a
siphoning action will begin and once that begins you may turn the unit off and
the siphoning will continue. Remove the desired amount of water and then to stop
siphoning action, either remove unit from the water or raise hose above water
level. The Algae Scraper attachment can also be used to remove large amounts of
algae from your tanks glass walls. Simply replace the gravel attachment with the
algae scraper attachment and proceed as if cleaning the gravel.
