Packed in nitrifying bacteria-filled water, they drastically reduce your cycling time. Naturally buffers to a pH of 7.8 - 8.2. Great for your saltwater, reef or brackish tank. Not suited for freshwater tanks.

Instructions Best results when used as follows: Use a minimum of 1 lb. of this sand per gallon of salt water. Set up filtering system and allow it to circulate. During the first month introduce no more than 1 inch of fish per 5 gallon of salt water.
