Carnivore Foods If your aquarium community is carnivorous, consider a carnivore fish food for staple feeding. Carnivores can be fed a primary diet of live or frozen organisms such as bloodworms, tubifex worms, krill or shrimp (freeze-dried is much less hassle, but better as a supplement than a staple as there may be nutrients lost in the drying process). Carnivore fish food is generally formulated to provide a well-rounded staple food, to be supplemented with organisms. More aggressive carnivores might prefer feeding with a manual feeder such as a prong.
