The Clearfree 1 is a precision, made to
fit corner filter.The filter is easy to set-up and maintain. It provides triple
actionfiltration. The filter cartridges contain dacron floss for mechanical
filtration,a foam pad for ammonia-removing biological filtration, activated
carbon for chemical filtration, and zeolites for removing ammonia.The filter is
operated by an airpump (not included). The included airstone omits bubbles that
allow the water to flow through the filter cartridge. The corner suction cups
allow the filter to fit with precision in the corner of your aquarium.
Instructions:
Monthly changes of the Clear-Free Cartridges and approximately 20% of the water,
siphoned from the bottom of the aquarium, are recommended for a clear and
healthy environment.To remove the Clear-Free Cartridges, slide up the filter box
only, conveniently leaving the airstone assembly in place on your aquarium wall.
Remove the cover of the filter box and throw-away the used cartridge and replace
it with a fresh one. To replace the filter box turn the air off before inserting
the box into the airstone assembly.After the box is locked into place resume the
air flow.
