Overview The Ecoxotic Cannon LED Elliptical Pendant Light’s low power consumption and high light output is perfect for any deep water aquarium. LED lights are fully capable of photosynthesizing corals in an aquarium. The PAR rating of these lamps is comparable to a 400 W metal halide lamp.
A blue 455 nm color spectrum recreates deep water lighting conditions to provide the light and color necessary for coral growth, and a 100 degree field angle ensures the whole aquarium is lit. This 100 W multi-chip LED will last 50,000 hours under normal stress conditions.
LED lights are highly efficient and burn much cooler than metal halide lamps, saving you from buying pricy replacement bulbs and cooling equipment. Cannon LEDs provide sharper and more focused light using a reflector to benefit your corals. Dust and water resistant housings ensure your corals will have light for years to come. Includes a 2-piece swivel mounting bracket.
Cannon LEDs produce extreme amounts of light and are not recommended for nano tanks and tanks less than 24" deep. Recommended for installation by a licensed electrician. The remote power supply is sold separately and required for operation.
