Instructions 1. Shake the dropper bottle before use. 2. Rinse the test vial in tap water; then several times with the aquarium water. Fill it with the aquarium water sample up to 5 mL using the measuring syringe. 3. Add the KH-test reagent drop by drop (count the drops), Shake the test vial lightly after each drop in order to mix the liquid throughly. Continue to add the drops of reagent until you have obtained a stable change of color from cyan to yellow color. 4. Each drop of the reagent corresponds to one degree of hardness. The tottal number of the drops used equals the total hardness of the solution in dkh for example 8 drops = 4 dkh. 5. Rinse the test vial in tap water.
