Elos Aqua Nitrate Test Kit gives you over 50 tests for your fresh or marine tank, depending on nitrate level. A precisely calibrated dropper and lab testing aids accuracy so you know your results are correct. Reagents are not toxic, unlike other kits.
Instructions 1. Shake each reagent bottle before use. 2. Rinse the test vial in tap water; then several times with the aquarium water. Fill it with the aquarium water sample up to the 5 mL mark using the measuring syringe. 3. Add, to the test sample, a dosage spoonful (0.15 mL) if powdered reagent NO3A. (Close the powder box immediately.) 4. Close the test vial with the plastic stopper and shake the solution for a few seconds (it does not matter if the powder has not completely dissolved). 5. Remove the plastic stopper and add 6 drops of reagent NO3B. (Close the reagent flask immediately.) 6. Close the test vial with the plastic stopper and shake the solution for 5 minutes. 7. Put the vial on white field on the color chart and, by looking from above into the open vial, compare the color of the solution with the color field. The NO3 valvue is indicated in the corresponding color field. 8. Rinse the vial and the measuring syringe with tap water.
