Instructions Live mud is most effective when applied directly to your refugium. The size of your refugium will determine the amount of mud needed. In most cases you will require a 1" - 2" (2.5 - 5cm) thick layer of mud to maintain the proper amount of nutrient saturation.
Alternate UseFiji Mud may also be added directly to your aquarium at the rate of one teaspoon (5ml) per 100 gallons (380 L) twice weekly. Mix with tank water and pour directly into water flow, the water will become cloudy but will return crystal clear overnight.
