Even in the most expertly plumbed overflow systems, accidents can happen. Avoid the hassle, damage and expense of an overflowing tank or sump with the Float Valve & Automatic Shutoff Valve Kit from ESU. The automatic shutoff valve is set to activate when it detects water rising above a level you predetermine, forcing the float valve to shut water off at its source. Plumbing kit also includes a check valve and three feet of blue connection tubing.
Instructions:Tubing Installation:
Remove tubing connector from unit.
Slide 0.25" diameter tube through tubing connector.
Insert tubing lock inside tube.
Attach tubing connector into inlet fitting and tighten.
Suggested usage:
Reservoir storage for reverse osmosis units.
Gravity fed top-off systems.
Water storage installation:
Make sure that water storage is dry and empty before installation.
Locate desired water line for water storage.
Measure 1" above the water line and bore a 5/8" diameter hole through water storage.
Slide float-valve connector through water storage hole.
Screw mounting fastener through float-valve connector and tighten against outside of water storage.
Attach inlet fitting and tubing connector to float-valve connector and tighten.
Note: Teflon tape may be needed for the threaded fittings.
Adjust to desired water level using adjustment knob.
Note: Twist adjustment knob counter clockwise to lower water level in water storage, clockwise to raise the water level.
