Fluval Foam provides mechanical straining
of particulate waste from prematurley clogging other filter media in the Module
Stack of the Fluval 404. Although the primary purpose of Fluval Foam is
mechanical filtration, biological activity will eventually occur within its pore
structure.
Instructions:
Rinse foam monthly or as needed to retain biological activity. Rinse in aged
aquarium water. Fluval Foam will deteriorate over time and will need to be
replaced.
