Kalkwasser Mix will provide calcium for
lush growth of purple, pink and green calcareous algaes, snails, hard tube worms
and clams. It will allow corals to lay down new layers of calcium carbonate. It
will provide bio-available calcium to reef inhabitants if mixed with water. It
will provide long term results that no other supplement will. Treats up to
27,000 gallons of water.
Dosage: Add 1/8 minimum to 2 teaspoons maximum per gallon of freshwater
(preferably reverse osmosis or deionized water) for a stock solution. Let stand
for several hours. It is normal for a crust to develop on top. A white
precipitate may form on the bottom of the container. Above this is the clear
calcareous water which should be added to the tank slowly.
