The AquaticLife R7S HID T5-HO Lunar Lamp combines the best of the best aquarium lighting into one easy to use, long lasting fixture. 2 powerful 150W R7S HID metal halide, 4 actinic blue T5-HO, and 4 bright 1 watt lunar LED lamps combine to support any type of aquarium life, including corals and other invertebrates.
With an AquaticLife R7S HID T5-HO Lunar Lamp, you have complete control over your aquarium's lighting. Replace included lamps with 10,000K, 14,000K, and 20,000K lamps for a different color spectrum. The LEDs pivot 40 degree to control lunar lighting as needed. 3-channel digital timer controls all 3 lamps independently and can be programmed to your liking. Unlike other multiple lamp fixtures, there is only one power cord to plug in.
With the timer, you can create a 24 hour lighting cycle. Once programmed, it will take care of the light settings and timing for you. It comes preprogrammed to a "standard" lighting cycle, all you have to do is set the time zone and it's ready to go. On/Off buttons allow you to manually adjust the lighting if need be.
Open streamlined design slows HID lamps to cool without the use of a fan. A cooling fan is placed over the T5 ballasts. Included reflectors maximize the output of each lamp, ensuring no light is wasted. Each lamp is protected from water splashing with a clear plastic lamp cover. The black mat finish is attractive and will hide minor dents and scratches.
Every part of the lamp is modular and easy to disconnect, so when it comes time for a repair, there's no need to take the whole lamp to the shop, just remove and fix the broken part.
It's recommended this fixture does not sit directly on the tank but be operated with included mounting hardware or optional suspension hardware. This allows excess heat to escape from the fixture. Mounts are adjustable, and can slide to fit your aquarium.
