The use of an R/O unit is essential if
you are looking for extremely pure water. The unit will pull out the harmful
minerals and particles and allow the water molecules to pass through. The
membranes are used as the third or final stage in an R/O unit to finally pull
out the remaining elements that were not pulled out by the other filters. When
replacing the membrane unit of your R/O unit make sure that you have the correct
model to replace it with.
