produced in the aquarium by fish waste and overfeeding. Even low levels affect
the red blood cells of fish, reducing their ability to carry oxygen, thus
causing suffocation and even death.
The Nitrite Test Kit is fast easy and accurate for freshwater or marine
aquariums.
Specifications:
The kit contains liquid regent in a dropper bottle for accurate dispensing of
test solutions, easy-to-read instructions and color chart, a non-staining glass
test tube with a snap-tight cap, and instructions. The test reads 0 to 5 parts
per million of nitrite. The scale reads: 0, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Each kit
will do 180 tests.
