Ocean Clear modular filters allow you to
mix and match in order to get just the right combination of filtration for your
needs. This system works with freshwater or saltwater aquariums or ponds and
each unit is rated for aquariums up to 500 gallons or ponds up to 1280 gallons.
Multiple units can be hooked together to accommadate any size aquarium or pond.
The 380 uses 154 sq ft of Polystrand Dual Function pads for mechanical and
biological filtration as well and an 18 watt UV bulb to kill free floating
bacteria and algae. The pads have holes in the center and the UV bulb fits in
the hole. Use an external pump with a flow rate of 500-1600gph. Manufacturer
recommends using a pump at the higher end, especially if using more than one
unit in tandom. Inlet and outlet size is 3/4".

Filter body, lid, gray thread ring, media,parts pack and UV kit.
Parts pack includes: 1 drain valve with garden hose thread outlet, 1 3/4" x 3/4"
straigth adapter and 1 3/4" x 3/4" elbow adapter, 5" piece of 3/4" ID vinyl
tubing, 2 speedy clamps, 1 vent plug with o-ring for lid and 1 pipe plug with
o-ring.
UV kit includes: base plate, middle pipe, quartz sleeve, transformer and UV
lamp.
