The Powersweep 226 is an automatic
self-rotating powerhead and wavemaker for reef tanks, live plant tanks,
community tanks and undergravel filters. The powerhead has a unique automatic
rotating feature that rotates 90 degrees. This feature creates greater surface
agitation allowing for a high oxygen exchange rate. The rotating feature also
breaks down the surface film of dead bacteria which can inhibit oxygen exchange.
The included Venturi aerating feature allows for even greater oxygen intake and
includes 2” of airline tubing .
The water deflector rotates a full 360 degrees, allowing you to control the
outflow of the oxygenated water. The Flow Control Knob will also allow you to
control the outflow and decrease the rotation speed of the diffuser and quantity
of air.
The Powersweep 226 is designed to fit all undergravel stems sizes from 3/4" to 1
1/8". The multi suction cup mount adjusts to all uplift tube positions. The
Powersweep also includes a prefilter assembly for added mechanical filtration.
