Prime is the complete and concentrated
conditioner for both fresh and salt water. Prime removes chlorine, chloramine
and ammonia. Ammonia is converted into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily
removed by the tank's biofilter. This product may be used during tank cycling to
alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Prime detoxifies nitrite and nitrate,
allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. It also promotes the
production and regeneration of the natural slime coat. This product is
non-acidic and will not impact pH. Use at start-up and whenever adding or
replacing water.
Treats 2500 gallons
Instructions:
Use 1 capful for each 50 gallons of new water. This dose removes approximately
.6 mg/L ammonia, 3 mg/l chloramine, or 4 mg/L chlorine. This product may be
added to the aquarium directly, but it is better if added to new water first.
