This product raises carbonate alkalinity
without having an immediate impact on the pH. When used for a long period of
time there is a tendancy to stabalize at 8.3 pH. Carbonates and calcium are
essential to coral growth and growth will cease if either becomes deficient. If
used as directed, this product will not deplete calcium, magnesium or strontium
which usually tends to precipitate with increasing alkalinity.
Treats 8000 gallons of water.
Instructions:
Use 1 level tsp per 40 gallons of water twice a week. Dissolve in at least 1 cup
of freshwater. Make sure to check alkalinity every 2 weeks and adjust dose
accordingly.
Ingredients:
Carbonate, bicarbonate, chloride and sulfate salts of sodium, magnesium,
calcium, strontium and potassium. Each gram contains a minimum of 12 meg of
alkalinity.
