Used properly, NeoPlex won't cause water discoloration or damage to the filter bed. It is well tolerated by most invertebrates, but delicate species may experience stress. If this is a concern for you, try using NeoPlex together with Focus, a polymeric binding agent which allows you to medicate your fishes internally and avoid potential harm to delicate invertebrates and plants.
Use 1 level measure (included) to every 8 L (2 gallons), or mix with Focus for internal feeding. Repeat once a week for up to three weeks until symptoms disappear.
Do not use UV, ozone, or chemical filtration during use. Remove with carbon before turning on UV.
