The super char is a powdered activated
carbon for use in Vortex Diatom filters for freshwater or saltwater aquariums.
This carbon is meticulously distilled to produce a superior number of micropores
to be specific and selective in its absorbant qualities. It contains as much as
28,000 square yards of surface area per ounce. It reduces odors and ammonia
content. Required amounts: Model D-1 - 4tsp and XL - 12tsp.
