Overview Stabilizes your aquarium's pH to 8.3. Designed to hold your pH at 8.3 by raising carbonate alkalinity and pH at the same time.
Instructions Monitor pH and alkalinity. For each 20 gallons of water, dissolve 1/2 teaspoon in 1/2 cup or more of freshwater. This solution will raise the alkalinity of 40 gallons of saltwater by about 0.5 meg/L (1.4 kdH) and it will raise the pH by about 0.1 units. Wait 1 hour and check alkalinity before administering a 2nd dose, if it is needed. Use weekly or as needed to maintain an alkalinity between 3 and 4 meg/L and adjust the pH to a daytime range between 8.1 and 8.4.
