UVs are an effective method of disease and algae control,
without using harsh chemicals. It has a quartz sleeve and bulb, UL and CSA
listed. Can be used with an existing Rainbow system or added to most canister
filters. It should be installed as the final stage of your filtering system.
Good for freshwater or saltwater tanks up to 300 gallons, ponds up to 2,500
gallons. You will need a water pump with a maximum flow rate of 1,500 gph.
