Aquarium Water Deionizers & Combination RO/DI Systems
Aquarium water deionizers or add-on deionizing units, which can sometimes be used alone, are completely water efficient, producing no waste water. (And can also be used for drinking water.) An RO/DI combination system is about as good as it gets, however - use waste water for your home garden. Once your water deionizer's capacity is met, you must replace or recharge it. Remember to restore beneficial trace elements to your aquarium water!
