Bio Foam Grid Assembly for Whisper 30, 40 & 60 Filters
This retro fit kit for Tetra Whisper Power Filter Models 4 and 5 adds biological filtration to your Whisper Power Filter. The Aerobic Grid holds the Bio-Foam, which provides surface area for bacteria to perform biological filtration. The fine mesh Bio-Foam is durable and effective at catching particulate matter as well.
Instructions:
Remove Aerobic Grid and Bio-Foam from plastic bag. Remove Bio-Foam from Aerobic Grid and rinse and squeeze under cool tap water until it is thoroughly wet. Place Bio-Foam in Aerobic Grid underneath tabs with tapered end down. Slide Aerobic Grid all the way down into Filter Box in front of the Bio-Bag. The Bio-Foam should be rinsed once a month or when water overflows into the Wonder Tube Chamber, even after the Bio-Bag has been changed. It may also be necessary to replace the Bio-Foam at least once a year if it begins to show signs of wear.
